He did it!!

My favorite one, he did it. He finally, after 6 long years of:
comprehensive exams,
TA-ships,
travels,
typing,
researching,
interviewing,
reading,
lugging books to and from the library,
paying hundreds of dollars on late fees for said books,
late nights,
meetings,
phone calls,

defended and earned his PhD. I couldn't be more proud.
